UK consumers are getting themselves into debt, wasting money on useless gadgets as Christmas presents.
According to new research from the Halifax, 15 per cent of people in the UK admit to having been given a gadget they will never use as a present.
The group also revealed that the average cost of these gadgets is as high as £120.
