Use a credit card abroad to avoid problems

Apacs are advising consumers to use a credit card abroad to give them protection on purchases that they otherwise wouldn't have when paying by cash or using a debit card.

British consumers currently enjoy protection on goods up to £30,000 when using a credit card abroad but still some people choose to use cash because they fear getting into debt.

Mark Bowerman from Apacs commented, "It's beneficial to use a credit card because you have that extra protection that you do not have with a debit card".
