The Halifax are offering student debt help in the form of a huge £3000 interest free overdraft with their new current account specifically designed for students.
The account also comes with card insurance and reductions on AA membership to help students with additional expenses they have to find money for.
Head of banking at Halifax, Mike Regnier commented, "This student account offers consumers real long-term value."
