Single women in the UK do more unpaid overtime that anyone else, hoping to improve their position within a company, earn more money and stay out of debt.
That's the view of the Trades Union Congress who have carried out research into the working habits of the different British demographics.
General secretary for the group Brendan Barber warned that employers shouldn't take their workers dedication for granted and ensure all the extra work isn't damaging their health.
