With the credit crunch making personal debt in the UK an even bigger problem, saving money is becoming 'sexy' according to one leading financial expert.
Emma Byrne stated that young people in particular are waking up to the importance of having a savings account as they struggle with students debts and other arrears.
She commented, "People are realising that this mass-consumerism and 'have it all' society are beginning to fade away."
