UK consumers trying to save money by taking a packed lunch to work could end up adding to their debt problems, according to mySupermarket.
The group have reported that many people purchase a number of different items in order to make a variety of lunches throughout the week, and when all this is added up it often costs more than buying sandwiches everyday.
In a recent poll 71% of people said the reason they take a packed lunch to work is to save money during difficult economic conditions.
