Expecting mothers in the UK are to be given free information packs on how to handle their finances better and avoid debt after the birth of their child.
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) have announced that they will provide pregnant women with a new pamphlet entitled 'The Parent's Guide to Money' which will include tips and other useful bits of information that some people might not already know.
Matthew Carter of Nationwide welcomed the news commenting, "More needs to be done to fully engage families on the importance of managing their finances."
