Research from Cooperative Financial Services shows that 72 per cent of UK adults have yet to make a will of any kind.
This means that if the worst should happen, it wouldn't be straightforward for your loved ones to claim ownership of your major assets, leaving them open to financial hardship.
The government have advised those that haven't already made a will to do so swiftly and ensure their close family have some security if you should no longer be there to provide it.
