According to Fool.co.uk, Londoners spend less than people in most other areas of the country when it comes to going out and entertainment in general.
People in Scotland are most likely to get into debt when it comes to spending on entertainment, shelling out on average £74 a month on going out. Londoners by contrast spend only £61 a month.
David Kuo, head of finance for Fool commented, "Having been up to places in the north people do like to go out and socialise and they do like to go out a lot, so perhaps this is being blown up by the research,"
