The doom of the Credit Action statistics on British debt is becoming somewhat of a tradition. The group have found that personal debt grew £9 billion in the month of March alone this year.
Things get even worse when the figures are looked at over a longer period of time with debt growing £113 billion over the last year in Britain.
The average UK household now has £57,240 of personal debt including mortgages, with every adult owing somewhere in the region of £30,120.
