Christian debt help could become far more popular as the Church of England step up their campaign to help those struggling with their personal finances.
The Church have set up a ten point 'debt check' which they hope will open peoples eyes to the amount of debt they have and the fact that they must seek help in order to turn the corner.
They also state that now more than ever, Christian debt help can reach out to those struggling with finances. This fact is substantiated by the fact that 18% of adults in the UK have over £10,000 of debt aside from their mortgage.
The Church of England's mission is to combine practical advice with reassurance in the form of prayers and guidance from the Bible.
It's feared more people than ever will slip into insolvency this year on the back of excessive spending in 2007.
