The Christians Against Poverty (CAP) group have expressed their concern over research that found many UK families miss meals in order to make debt repayments.
67% of families admitted that they had skipped eating proper meals in order to save money, with 22% saying they do it regularly as they have little choice.
Head of CAP UK Matt Barlow commented: “Our latest findings are truly shocking, highlighting the trauma that many families in debt face on a day-to-day basis.
