There will be a number of credit cards introduced in 2008 that all have exciting benefits but all carry the threat of serious debt problems. The advice is to not get carried away with what's on offer and make sure you can afford to pay back what you borrow.
easyJet have teamed up with Citi cards to bring out their own credit card that offers benefits such as free flights and 0% on balance transfers for the first nine months of the agreement. You can also earn miles everytime you make a purchase on easyJet.com.
Credit cards like this do encourage getting into debt which is always dangerous if you're not responsible with your spending habits. So only get one of these cards if you're savvy enough to know the right times to use it.
Remember, there's a reason that credit card providers team up with airlines and other services. They know that people will be more likely to apply for their credit card and once they have it, they're more likely to spend and build up significant debt. Don't fall into this trap.
