The number of people filing for personal bankruptcy is set increase rapidly after a second base rate hike from the Bank of England.
The increase to 5.5% makes it the highest the figures have been since 2001 and many homeowners are set to struggle to find the extra money to compensate.
The January increase caused financial turmoil throughout the UK and it's feared that the same scenario could be repeated.
