New legislation in the UK has given Bailiffs increased power to take possessions away from people struggling with credit card debt and other financial problems.
The news law allows bailiffs to force entry into a person's home to retrieve goods that account for the money owing to credit and finance providers.
A spokesperson for the CAB warned consumers: "Bailiffs are often abusive and aggressive and use threats of violence and prison to pressurise people into paying lump sums they cannot afford."
